If you're up for a day trip to the mountains, a stop in the charming old mining town of Idaho Springs, just off of I-70 is a must do. Idaho Springs was the scene of Misha's proposal to Kirsten and where they had their first date. Our family always stopped there on our way to or back from Snowmass/Aspen for our ski vacations.
