Kirsten and MJ met each other non-traditionally on a dating app - Hinge. MJ sent Kirsten a rose and they bonded over being Puerto Rican and Irish. They weren't able to meet right away, since Kirsten was away in Guatemala for a mission trip. Despite this they spoke every single day; even while Kirsten was in Guatemala, about core values, beliefs, and dreams. They couldn't believe how similar they were and how much their values aligned. After over a month of speaking, MJ and Kirsten finally had their first date in Nyack, NY. When they finally met in person, it truly felt like "love at first sight." They had a six hour first date!! Once the restaurant closed, they walked by the water, sat at a bench, and couldn't stop talking. They both left because it started raining; admitting later on that they didn't want the date to end. From that day on, Kirsten and MJ were inseparable and were on the "fast track program" to life. Here they are today, within three years later; engaged, living in their condo in Stamford, CT, with an amazing son Noah and furry son Brody. We can't wait to celebrate our beautiful marriage with you all February 2026!!
