This is our recommended method for getting to the top of Pikes Peak! The train takes off from Manitou Springs, about 1.5 hours from Denver. The train takes you through the Pikes Peak wilderness and up to the summit, where you can get a delicious donut and learn about the history of the mountain from the newly constructed visitor center. Fun fact: Matt drove me all the way to the top after I requested a kiss at 14,000 ft!
