Want to experience the most chaotic mexican dining experience known to man? Make reservations at Casa Bonita and experience cliff divers, puppet shows, a pirate cove to explore, and entirely too much more. Advanced reservations are required.
This hotel in Colorado Springs is where our engagement photos were taken. If you're feeling fancy and want to spend a day or two in Colorado Springs, there is no better spot. The dining options are amazing and the distance to our other recommended spots in the Springs can't be beat!
This is our recommended method for getting to the top of Pikes Peak! The train takes off from Manitou Springs, about 1.5 hours from Denver. The train takes you through the Pikes Peak wilderness and up to the summit, where you can get a delicious donut and learn about the history of the mountain from the newly constructed visitor center. Fun fact: Matt drove me all the way to the top after I requested a kiss at 14,000 ft!
2.5 hours from Denver with a beautiful drive through the mountains, this hot spring is large, relaxing, and has nice rooms and a delicious restaurant. We recommend staying a night in the creekside suite.
