At this time, the wedding is planned for a mostly online attendance. There will be a livestream broadcast of the wedding on Saturday June 12, followed by a rebroadcast with Martin and Kirsten joining the conversation on Sunday, June 13. We hope these will allow us to meaningfully interact with our friends and family unable to attend in person. See the Schedule page for more details, or to connect to the video streams.
Lincoln county recently released outdoor crowd restrictions and mask rules for vaccinated people. We moved our location to a beach in Lincoln County so that our wedding party and immediate families can now attend in person. All adults that will be present are vaccinated, but we will still be practicing social distancing by separating the "bubbles" of guests. We will also have hand sanitizer and masks available for anyone who wishes to use them. Lincoln County also allows a certain number of unvaccinated people to join an outdoor crowd. This will account for the few unvaccinated children that will be present. These children will still be grouped with their family bubbles to respect distancing.
To put it simply, we already have too much stuff in our house. We are well equipped with home goods and honestly cannot think of anything else we need. On the contrary, if you want to stop by our house and take something away then that would be very appreciated. Helping us make good memories is a more valuable gift to us than anything you can buy... except for maybe a pug. No, we don't need more pugs.
Beachy—Dressy Casual—Festive! Meaning, comfortable, nice clothing in fun colors or prints. No jeans, carhartts, or shorts, please. The ceremony location is on a beach, so sandals or even bare feet are acceptable. Also, this is the Oregon coast in June, so bring warmer clothing to layer due to wind, rain and for when the temperature predictably drops to ridiculously cold air in the evening.
