The ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 19, 2026 at St. Cecilia Church, 18 Belvidere Street, Boston. The reception will follow at Mistral, 223 Columbus Ave, Boston. Both are in the Back Bay neighborhood, about a 10-minute walk from each other.
Please plan to arrive at the church by 12:45 PM. The ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM.
Formal / cocktail attire. Think suits and ties for men, cocktail dresses or dressy separates for women. Keep in mind it will be December in Boston — a warm coat and practical shoes for walking outside are highly recommended!
Yes, the ceremony will be a traditional Catholic Mass. Non-Catholic guests are warmly welcome. There will be moments to sit, stand, and kneel — just follow along as you're comfortable. You are welcome to come forward during Communion for a blessing if you'd like.
A Catholic wedding Mass typically runs about an hour to an hour and a half.
