RSVP by February 28th, 2025, please! But the sooner, the better!

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception will both happen at Shady Beach on Big Stone Lake. Shady Beach is wheelchair and assistive mobility device accessible.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?
Answer
Shady Beach is on the South Dakota side of Big Stone Lake. Shady Beach is about 14 miles north of Milbank on Hwy 15. Shady Beach has plenty of parking, but we will have a bus transport guests from Shady Beach back to Milbank (GrandStay Hotel) from 9pm to 12am. Please utilize the bus and be safe!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The events of the afternoon/evening will be indoors, but during cocktail hour, guests may walk up to the local lake bar, The Wharf, if they want to grab a drink and play a round of pool or darts or try their hand at the lotto machines.

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
We are encouraging our guests to dress in their best attire for our special day! We kindly request guests to wear black.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
We encourage our guests to do what’s best for their family unit. If you are bringing children, just let us know on the RSVP, thank you!

Of course! Just plan to include that on your RSVP.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
If you plan on bringing a gift, we will have a designated table for gifts/cards at the wedding/reception. If you would like to send us something, our address is 2800 South Ridgeview Way, Sioux Falls, SD 57105.

Of course! We do ask that phones are put down and on silent during the ceremony. Thank you!
