Where should we stay?

Answer

Florence has great options for Airbnb! Airbnb will be your most affordable option while being able to stay within the city center. We highly recommend staying as close to the city center and venue as possible. Ubers and taxis are not easy to come by! Our venues the St. Regis and Westin Excelsior are incredible hotels but will be on the pricier side to stay.

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

Florence Petrola Airport will be the easiest to fly into. Once you arrive grab a taxi and it is 20 minutes to the center of Florence. Pisa, Rome, and Milan are all options to fly into as well. These will require a train or bus to get to Florence. The train system is very good in Italy so it is an option!

Are kids allowed?

We love your little ones but to create an intimate atmosphere, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this as a date night to get out and have fun! We can't wait to celebrate with you!

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly request you tentatively RSVP by January 1st, 2025. Due to our wedding location we need numbers earlier than normal to plan with our vendors. We will need final confirmed RSVP by March 31st, 2025.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting black tie but understand if a tuxedo is not an option. In that case please wear a dark suit!

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer to capture all the moments of the ceremony. We kindly ask that phones be put away during the ceremony portion. Feel free to take as many photos and videos during the reception!

When should we arrive to Italy? How long should we stay?

Answer

We hope to have you in town for all of our weddings events but this is also a vacation for you! We will be hosting a Welcome Dinner the night before on Friday October 3rd. This will be open to all guests and hope to see you all there. Additionally we are hosting a Truffle Dog excursion on Thursday October 2nd. Josh & Kirsten will be in Florence from Tuesday September 30th to Tuesday October 7th. We would love to explore our favorite city with you once you arrive.
