What is a "New Orleans-style" Reception?

Answer

At a New Orleans-style reception, there is no formal plated dinner or assigned seating. Instead, guests can enjoy hors d'oeuvres, food stations, and drinks served all night long. Seating is flexible, with high-top tables, formal tables, and lounge areas available throughout the venue, allowing you to mingle, dance and eat at your own pace.

We love your little ones, but this is an adults-only celebration unless otherwise noted on your invitation.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

There is minimal street parking near the area of the hotel, so we encourage that our guests use rideshare services to navigate the New Orleans CBD and French Quarter. Shuttle services will be provided to guests from the NOPSI Hotel, to the wedding ceremony, and back to the NOPSI Hotel for the reception.

How can I get to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will have a shuttle service to pick up our guests from the NOPSI Hotel to St. Joseph Catholic Church for the ceremony. Shuttle Service will begin at 5:00PM. Shuttles will be available following the ceremony to return guests to the NOPSI for the reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting a formal dress code. Please dress to impress! Gentlemen should wear a suit with a tie or bow tie. Ladies are encouraged to wear dresses or formal pantsuits.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony 30 minutes before the start time, at approximately 5:30PM.
