WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

Eric and Kirsten took a much needed long weekend trip to Letchworth State Park in Castile, New York. It was the last weekend of May 2019 during the annual Balloons Over Letchworth hot air balloon festival. The first balloon launch was planned for their first evening at the park. Eric picked the perfect little spot by the Inspiration Point overlook where he and Kirsten had planned to watch the balloons pass through the gorge. Without Kirsten having any idea, Eric had been planning for well over a month and hired an amazing photographer, Amanda from Scottiebe Photo to capture it all. She hid in the woods during the proposal and snapped shots as he got down on one knee. Kirsten, of course, said YES and was completely surprised and forever grateful to find out Amanda was there to photograph their evening. They spent the rest of the evening exploring the park, anticipating the balloon launch, and popping champagne to celebrate their new engagement. Unfortunately, after much delay the balloon launch was postponed that evening due to the wind. Luckily, they still were able to watch the balloons launch into the gorge during the 6 a.m. sunrise the next morning. The rest of their unforgettable weekend was spent exploring the beautiful park, while enjoying some well deserved R & R as a newly happily engaged couple.
