As alot of you know, Devin and Kirsten met in their 1st period class at John R Roger's High School and immediately clicked. Kirsten was drawn to Devin's hilarious humor, his curly hair and his cheeky smile. She also loved the fact that he wore flannels almost every day with the same pair of cowboy boots and Oakley sunglasses (RIP to those glasses, he lost them). Although she was quiet and reserved her first couple of days of school, Devin always knew how to get her to smile and have endless conversations with him. Homecoming was drawing close so Devin decided to ask her to homecoming at High Country Orchard in Colbert, Washington. From there, Kirsten was introduced to Devin's family and she absolutely adored his family. She loved his niece and nephews and their personalities and how much his sister and her had in common. She instantly fell in love with the family dog named Lexi. Devin had the same adoration when meeting Kirsten's family (He especially loved her family's boston terriers). Kirsten's father and Devin developed an amazing friendship which involved eating alot of insanely hot peppers and testing if they could handle some of the hottest peppers. Devin even started working with her dad at Devries Moving and Packing. Kirsten and Devin spent every second together and had plenty of adventures and wonderful memories. One of which, Devin made the promise to eventually marry Kirsten and gave her a gorgeous promise ring on their 6 month anniversary. 9 months later on Christmas Day, Devin proposed to her in front of all of her family. Not soon after they started planning the day that would start the rest of their lives together.
