FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code is formal or cocktail attire and we hope for all of our guests to dress in black, Please dress accordingly and locate reference pictures for inspiration. Q: What does "Formal or Cocktail Attire" mean? A: It means dressing up in a polished, elegant style suitable for a special occasion. Men should wear a suit and tie or nice slacks and button shirts, and women can choose a cocktail dress, dressy midi, or a sleek jumpsuit, just make sure it’s in black! Q: Do I need to wear a floor-length gown or tuxedo? A: Not at all. While long dresses are welcome, they’re not required. A refined knee-length or midi dress is perfect, and men should wear a classic suit (no tux necessary). Q: What colors should I avoid? A: Please wear black only. This is a black-attire event, and we ask guests to stick with the theme. Also, please avoid white or ivory, those are reserved for the bride. Q: Can I wear patterns or bold colors? A: This celebration calls for solid black attire only. Subtle texture or tone-on-tone patterns within black are fine, but please avoid colorful prints or non-black outfits to keep with the dress code. Q: What about shoes? A: Dress shoes, heels, or stylish flats are all great. Keep in mind the venue terrain has some gravel in the parking lot. Q: Are jeans or sneakers okay? A: We kindly ask guests not to wear jeans, sneakers, or any casual clothing. This is a formal occasion, and we’d love for everyone to match the elevated tone of the day.
