Julie and Kirsten met over 10 years ago and quickly became fast friends. Julie is Kirsten’s longest friendship and one of her closest friends, and has been by her side through some of the happiest and most challenging moments of her life. Even after Julie moved to Columbus, their friendship has remained just as strong and consistent over the years. Kirsten truly can’t imagine her wedding day without Julie standing beside her as her Maid of Honor.
Courtney Downey
Bridesmaid
Courtney and Kirsten first met in college when Kirsten was friends with one of Courtney’s roommates. Years later, fate brought them back together when they ended up working at the same place—and, to their surprise, were assigned cubicles right next to each other. From that point on, they quickly became close friends and have only grown closer ever since. While they see each other every day at work, they also genuinely enjoy spending time together outside of the office. Courtney has become one of Kirsten’s closest friends, and Kirsten can’t imagine her wedding day without her standing by her side as a bridesmaid.
Niki Lozier-Kitakis
Bridesmaid
Niki and Kirsten met about 6 years ago when Kirsten was hired at the Stark County Board of DD. As fate would have it, Kirsten was assigned to a unit with Niki, and they quickly became friends. Over the years, their friendship has continued to grow, and Kirsten has even had the honor of standing by Niki’s side at her wedding. Through both work and life outside of it, they have built a strong bond and lasting friendship. Kirsten truly values Niki as one of her closest friends and cannot imagine her wedding day without her standing by her side as a bridesmaid.
Quorra Moore
Bridesmaid
Quorra is Cody’s niece and Kirsten’s junior bridesmaid. As Cody’s first niece, she holds a very special place in his heart, and has been such a joy in both Cody and Kirsten’s lives. They are so excited and honored to have her standing up with them on their wedding day as part of their bridal party.
Phoebe Steedly
Flower Girl
Phoebe is Cody’s niece and Kirsten’s flower girl. She is a true girly girl and was so excited to be included in the wedding celebration. Phoebe is even learning sign language so she can communicate with Kirsten, which means so much to them both. Cody and Kirsten are beyond excited and truly honored to have Phoebe be a special part of their big day.
Kinsley Barker
Flower Girl
Kinsley is Cody’s niece and Kirsten’s flower girl. Since Kinsley lives in North Carolina, Cody and Kirsten don’t get to see her often, but she holds a special place in their hearts. She is a sweetheart, and they are so excited and looking forward to having her be part of their special day
Joshua Moore
Best Man
Josh (Joshua) is Cody’s older brother and lifelong role model. From day one, he’s been a constant source of support, guidance, and inspiration. Cody has always looked up to Josh, so it only feels right to have him standing by his side as Best Man. Known for his intelligence and way with words, Josh brings both wisdom and heart to everything he does—and we’re so honored to have him play such an important role in our big day.
Jacob Moore
Groomsman
Jacob is Cody’s younger brother and someone who has grown into a truly important part of his life. While their relationship hasn’t always been perfect (what sibling relationship is?), the two have become much closer over the years. Jacob is incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable about just about anything you can think of—and he’s definitely Cody’s go-to for video game recommendations! We can’t imagine celebrating this day without him standing by our side.
Austin Barker
Groomsman
Austin is Cody’s youngest brother and one of his closest friends. Even though they didn’t grow up side by side due to the distance between them, that hasn’t stopped them from building a strong bond. Whether they’re texting, playing video games, or sending each other reels, they’re always staying connected. Austin has a way of being both funny and serious at the same time (we know—how does he do it?!), and we couldn’t imagine our big day without him standing up there with us.
Reese Steedly
Groomsman
Reese is Cody’s nephew and the quietest member of the wedding party. He’s a bit more reserved and happiest when he’s spending time video gaming. While Reese may not be too excited about all the photos that come with the big day, we’re so grateful he’s willing to stand up there with us. It truly means so much to have him be part of our celebration!
Clark Moore
Ring Bearer
Clark is Cody’s youngest nephew—and despite what people may think, they’re just uncle and nephew… even if they could pass as twins! Clark is the sweetest young boy, and he brings so much joy wherever he goes. We couldn’t imagine our wedding day without him being a part of it!
Ged Doepel
Officiant
Ged—better known as “Uncle Geddy” (at least if you ask Kirsten!)—is honored to be the officiant for this special day. Married to Kirsten’s Aunt Paula since she was an infant, Uncle Geddy has been a steady and familiar presence throughout Kirsten’s life. From family memories to everyday moments, he has always been there with support, kindness, and a helping hand—including even sharing his home by providing Kirsten with a place to live in the other side of their duplex. He also played a very special role in helping Kirsten and Cody welcome their very first dog, Charlee—something they will always be grateful for and never forget. Kirsten and Cody are incredibly grateful for Uncle Geddy and the role he has played in their lives. Having him officiate their wedding makes their celebration even more meaningful, and they couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without him by their side.
