When selecting a car I would recommend a car that is 4wd or AWD. It does snow in Salt Lake and there can be winter road conditions to keep everyone safe consider a winterized car!

Airbnb and other rental sites offer lots of options in the area for a great price. Logan UT is close by and has more lodging and accommodation options. There are other budget hotels in the area that would be a great option as well.
