Mt. Madonna County Park

As the slopes of Mt. Madonna descend toward the valley, the landscape changes from redwood forest to oak woodland, dense chaparral and grassy meadows.
Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch County Park
This 6,695-acre regional recreation area, nestled in the hills east of Gilroy, CA, features a 449-acre lake for fishing and boating. Coyote Lake has a “world-class” population of black bass, bluegill, black crappie, and Eurasian carp.
