(From Her Side) How Sean and I met is a usual and unusual story. We both attended Christopher Newport University and walked at the 2015 Spring graduation, but we had only had a few encounters with each other on campus during our 4 (and some people 4.5) years there. As Sean lovingly says, I was on his 'booty list' during that time, and we can both remember our real first interaction. We were both in line waiting for our hibachi order to be done in Regatta's on campus and were mutually introduced through Steven Chung. Sean was extremely friendly, and I thought he was extremely out of my league, so I got shy and ran away as soon as my food was ready. It wasn't until Homecoming that same year when Sean used another mutual friend, Jenn Plutchinsky, to make a real first impression. He played it cool and didn't come outside after I invited him, but from that night, I knew he was different. I told him the next day that I knew he was my new favorite person, and it's still true today. (From His Side) I had known who she was for the 3.5 years of school we had together. I always wanted the chance to meet her, but our paths never crossed. It wasn't until the homecoming of 15' that I finally got my chance. When I saw her at an alumni event at The Cove, I had to make a move. I saw her standing next to our mutual friend, Jenn. Although I had already talked to Jenn, I went up and acted like I had to catch up with her, all under the guise of getting formally introduced to that sexy girl that had alluded me for years. Once we started talking, it was pretty obvious that there was an instant connection. At one point, Kirsten tried to make a play and invited me to come sit out by the fire with her and her friends. I, however, being as suave and smooth as I am, respectfully declined. Luckily, playing hard to get really peaked her interest and when she returned from the fire our fate was sealed. We spent the next 5 days together in VB & haven't left each other's side since.
