Are Kids Invited To The Ceremony And Reception?

Answer

While we adore your children, if they are not a part of our wedding party (flower girl or ring bearer) we ask that you leave the little ones at home and make it a date night. Please refer to your invitation to see how many guests your invite includes. If this causes major issues, please do not hesitate to reach out directly. We will have recommendations for vetted babysitters in the area. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

How Formal Will The Wedding Be?

Answer

Most importantly, please make sure that you are comfortable, July can be warm in Sandpoint! Cocktail attire is recommended. Keep in mind that the wedding venue is lakeside, it has sections of grassy areas as well as a woodland area for the reception. Bridesmaids will be wearing a light, dusty blue.

When should we arrive in Sandpoint?

Answer

We recommend considering arriving as early as Wednesday evening or by Thursday evening. We will have activities planned throughout the week with the majority of events occurring on the Fourth of July (Friday 7.4) and our wedding day (Saturday, 7.5). While we are so excited to share Sandpoint with you, events leading up to the wedding are in no way mandatory. Come to what you can, we can't wait to celebrate with you.

If We Are Driving To The Venue, Where Should We Park?

Answer

There is ample parking at our venue that will be marked with signage. Please note that the venue is off a smaller, less traveled and windy road. Please give ample time to get to the venue as it is easy to miss. The venue's address is 6201 Le Clerc Rd. S, Newport, WA 99156.

If We Are Driving, What Time Should We Arrive At The Venue?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:30. The ceremony will start at 4:00 and guests will need to find their seats prior to the 4:00 start time.

Question

Can I Take Pictures During The Ceremony To Post On Social Media?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony and will be asking that guests refrain from using their phones and/or other recording devices during the ceremony. We have a great photographer and a wonderful videography team who can't wait to capture everyone!

Question

What Food Will Be Served And What If I Have Dietary Restrictions?

Answer

We will have multiple appetizer options (gluten free, vegetarian etc) and dinner will be a pasta bar with customizable options as well as a caesar salad and sides. There will be a gluten free pasta option. If you are worried about dietary restrictions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!
