We're tying the knot!

Our story began when we met through mutual family friends (Amy and Dave Roth). On New Year’s Eve '22, I asked if they knew anyone single that I could meet. Amy and Dave both looked at each other and said, yes! Darren Griesert! After exchanging Facebook friend requests, we went on our first date together at Pike and Pint in Alexandria, MN. We clicked instantly. Because we talked so much, we could hardly order our food or even eat. We had shut the place down three hours later and didn't even know it! Luckily, we had a super cool waitress who didn’t mind. We continue to grow and laugh with each other every day! As Darren would say, never a dull moment!

During our 2-week family vacation/camping trip to Yellowstone NP, Darren had the ring with him the entire time and no one knew what he had up his sleeve. He patiently waited for the perfect moment. One morning, we decided to explore Big Sky, MT, only an hour north of West Yellowstone, where we were staying. As we were hiking along this beautiful trail, we finally got to Ousel Falls. Darren says, “Let’s go over here!” where we found this unique and secluded area with the falls in the background. After taking pictures and enjoying the scenery, I turned around to see him behind me, down on one knee. I don’t even remember if I even let him finish asking me before I shouted, "YES!!” and just like that, we were engaged! It was the perfect place — the perfect moment.
