When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place on July 18, 2026 at the Ruthmere in Elkhart, Indiana. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm, followed by social hour and dinner.

Is there parking available?

Yes—there will be self-parking at the First Presbyterian Church on Grove Street, across the street from the Ruthmere.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 4:15 pm to ensure you’re seated before the ceremony begins.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Our celebration will be outdoors on a summer evening, so we recommend garden formal attire. Think elegant but comfortable — cocktail or midi dresses, flowy fabrics, and suits in lighter hues or soft neutrals. Pops of color like pinks, purples, blues, greens, yellows, and oranges are welcome! Our celebration is on a covered piazza (no grass!), so feel free to wear your favorite heels.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We kindly ask that only guests listed on your invitation attend. Thank you for understanding as we keep our celebration intimate.

Are children invited?

Answer

We adore your little ones and are happy to have them join us for the celebration; however, we encourage this to be a night out for the grown-ups, if you’re able to. Our after-party will be adults-only, so it might be the perfect excuse to enjoy an evening away!

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony so our photographer can capture the moment—then snap away during social hour and dinner!

Yes! We’d love to take photos with all our guests during social hour. Keep an eye out for us—we’ll come find you!
