Christian and Victoria met in college through her sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma and his fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha. While they often crossed paths being at the same events they were more acquaintances than friends. Christian graduated from UofA in 2015 and moved back home to Benicia, CA, while Victoria was in senior year of college and graduated in 2016. During this year Victoria moved back home to the Phoenix area and Christian also moved to the Phoenix area for a job and to start his adult life. At this time both of them were spending a lot of time with friends and having fun, which lead to them crossing paths again one night at a friends party. This one event lead to his friends and her friends hanging out in a group frequently and the two young adults started to take a liking to one another. They started dating in 2017 at just 23 and 24 years old, over the years they have had the amazing ability to learn and grow together and start their life. They now share a home in Mesa, AZ with their three fur babies (Winnie, Stella, and Hank) and cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together.

Victoria and Christian were on a trip to Puerto Rico for a friends optometry school graduation. They were both excited to see a new and beautiful place, so Christian decided it would be a once in a lifetime experience for a proposal. There are so many sites to see on the island, one of the being the old military fort Castillo San Felipe del Moro in Old San Juan. The fort sits on an elevated edge over looking the ocean and is surrounded by plush greenery. Christian loves to see a historical sight and wants to explore and learn everything he can while there. That being said, he was dragging Victoria all around the fort because he must see it all, when he noticed one area they had not seen yet that had a great view. Victoria was not surprised when he wanted to make his way there. The couple was taking in the beautiful site when Victoria felt a soft shaking hand on her shoulder. She went to face him and he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Of course she said yes!
