We're getting married!

Our story begins all the way back in 2011, in Mrs. Lawrence's Freshman Biology Class. Chase and Amy were assigned as lab partners and stayed friends for the first two years of high school. It is rumored that Amy made the first move after a few years of friendship. They had their first date the summer going into Junior year at the local skating rink. Who knew Chase was a figure skater?! The couple stayed together all throughout high school. Some of Amy’s favorite memories are from cheering Chase on at his Friday night football games, and Chase really has an eye for the arts after numerous dance recitals he attended of Amy's. Amy was always attracted to Chase's sense of humor and selfless characteristics. Chase has always valued Amy's abilities to be motivated and strong-minded. Shoutout to Dwyer High School for bringing these two crazy teenagers together!

Friday, January 14, 2022, Chase and Amy headed up to Ann Arbor, Michigan to enjoy the winter weather and visit with Amy's grandmother. Amy's cousins, Araceli and Alisa, tagged along to take part in the weekend's adventure as well. During the weeks leading up to the trip, Chase had been researching local nature parks to go to get the chance to "play in the snow." Luckily, Grammy had the perfect location, Gallop Park. On Saturday, January 15, 2022, the crew headed over to the park, and what Amy thought would be a freezing, but fun outdoor exploration ended up being the perfect spot for Chase to get down on one knee and pop the question! With the help of Alisa and Araceli, Chase was able to pull off the most impressive task of all... being able to actually surprise Amy! It was the easiest yes!
