FAQs

The Wedding Website of Madeline Kirk and Matthew Surprenant
Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests be seated by 1:45pm so that we may begin promptly at 2:00pm, when mass starts.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Our requested dress code is cocktail attire. This means semi-formal, polished looks that strike a balance between casual and black-tie. For women, elegant knee-length, midi, or floor-length dresses, or chic jumpsuits are perfect. For men, suits or blazers paired with dress pants and dress shoes are encouraged. Please avoid jeans or overly casual attire. Please visit this website for some examples of what we are thinking: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Because of limited space at our venue, we can only accommodate those guests named on your invitation. While we love your little ones, we’re unable to include children outside of the wedding party. We hope you’ll join us for a night of celebration and enjoy a well-deserved date night!

Question

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

Answer

Yes — you’ll have the opportunity to share any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP. We’re happy to accommodate whenever possible, and if you have any concerns or don’t see an option that fits your needs, please feel free to contact Madeline or Matthew.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests who are formally listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, they will be named or indicated on the RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone joining us!

Question

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

To ensure we can finalize plans with our venue and vendors, we kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted by the stated deadline. If we do not receive a response by that date, we’ll assume you are unable to attend and will miss you on our special day.
