Matron of Honor
Annie and I met at the young age of 3 at the Mt. Prospect Public Library and we bonded over our mutual love for Barney, Beanie Babies, and ice cream. From St. Mark's preschool buddies, to DePaul Blue Demon's, to DG sorority sisters, and 5 years as roommates we have been there for each other through it all! Annie is one of my more emotional friends, often crying at the sight of a friend's baby or a cute Basset Hound puppy, so I am not quite sure how she is going to make it through her speech. I also have the honor of standing up as the Maid of Honor in her wedding in June and I can't imagine anyone else standing by my side!
Best Man
Adam is my big brother and so it is only fitting that he be by my side for the wedding. Adam has been a huge influence in my life and I am excited to share my big day with him. He is the world's biggest Keith Urban fan so watch for him tearing up the dance floor when Keith comes on. You can see Adam pictured with his puppy Shadow.
Bridesmaid
Cari is Kirk's younger sister and my soon to be sister-in-law! Kirk and I are lucky to live only a few short blocks away from Cari in Madison. Cari pours us a mean drink (at a steep discount) on our frequent visits to State Street Brats and she is the best dog auntie/sitter ever to our pup Ryder! Also if anyone needs the answer to rap trivia from the years of 1990-2019 Cari is your girl.
Groomsman
Chad is my cousin and business partner. When we aren't discussing business you can usually find us having full conversations in movie quotes. He lives in Arlington Heights with his wife, Nora, and two kids, Carter and Lyana. When he is not being super dad he is a physical therapist in the great Chicago area. He and Nora actually met while in PT school. Chad has some quick wit which makes me nervous when it comes time for speeches.
Bridesmaid
Michaela is one of my best "cousin-friends" she is a renowned speech pathologist at an elementary school during the week and an IPA connoisseur trying out different breweries on the weekends. From matching outfits, movie marathon slumber parties, to playing "restaurant" in our grandparents basement we have come a long way together! I also had the honor of standing up in her wedding this past September!
Groomsman
Tom has grown to be one of my best friends. We first met when our parents decided to set up a carpool for us to go to soccer practice our freshman year of high school. We have since spent countless hours together doing all sorts of activities - wakeboarding, boating, working out, trap shooting, traveling and of course partying. Tom received a degree in Architecture and is now back in school pursuing a degree in Engineering. Tom knows something about just about anything so be sure to find him and test this claim on the wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Kara is another one of my best "cousin-friends" and with Michaela we make up the dynamic trio, the closest in age cousins out of the 15. From more matching outfits and movie marathon slumber parties (Kara's house always had the best movies and was therefore the first choice for sleepovers) to now having Chicago cousin game nights. Kara always makes sure there are Gluten Free snacks for me when hosting, despite her love for glutenous pizza.
Groomsman
Travis has been a friend for about as long as I can remember with the reason being that the Murphy family and my family have been friends for a very long time. We have spent many vacations together camping in National parks and have attended numerous Badger games. Travis and his now fiance Katie came with us on our last trip to Nicaragua as well.
Bridesmaid
Jocelyn and I were suitemates at DePaul and met the first night of college and we have been best friends ever since! Jocelyn is one of the funniest people I know, making you laugh until you cry. Jocie grew up in Philly and we have been on several adventures across the east coast over the years (Gooserocks beach in Maine topping the list). After about a decade of failed attempts of Annie and I trying to convince her to move back to Chicago she still resides in Philly. Although she lives halfway across the country it is like no time has passed when we get together again!
Groomsman
Mike and I first met when we moved into the Witte dorms freshman year of college. His room was across from mine and as fate would have it we both had some interesting roommate situations that we bonded over. We lived together the next three years and so were able to share more than a few memorable moments of our college careers. Mike and his wife, Lisa, live in Park Ridge, IL and I was honored to stand up in their wedding only a couple of years ago.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and I met at the age of 5 in Mrs. Kratz’s kindergarten class. We were pretty much inseparable during our awkward Lincoln junior high school years, doing puzzles and taking adventurous suburban bike rides to Panera and beyond. Nowadays Kelsey is my running partner and we have done several 5k’s and 10k’s together and our next goal is a half marathon this spring!
Groomsman
Trevor and I also met freshman year of college and he was a roommate of Mike and mine for a couple of years after that. The reason he wasn't our roommate senior year was because he's an overachiever and graduated early. Trevor and I have taken similar paths in school and professionally and he has been a great person to talk to about all the decisions that got us to where we are.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa and I met through our sorority Delta Gamma in college, she was dubbed the unofficial 5th roommate at the Wayne house and basically lived in my room. Alyssa is my only friend shorter than me standing high at 4 ft 11 inches (she will try to deny this, but it is true I am taller). Do not let her short stature fool you as she is one of the most ambitious people I know! Alyssa can usually be found starting the dance party and will most likely be the first on the dance floor at the wedding.
Groomsman
Cooper is a great friend and a hilarious one at that. Coop, Tom, myself and a few other guys would spend about as much time together as possible in the summers during our college years soaking up that #lakelife. In the years since the same group of guys gets together (almost) every summer for our annual "Man Trip". Cooper went to the University of MInnesota (no one's perfect) and now lives in Charlotte, NC.
Bridesmaid
Lindsey and I met through our sorority and were roommates at "the Hut" on Wayne Junior and Senior year. The first night I hung out with Lindsey in college we drank copious amounts of Franzia, thankfully we have both matured and upgraded our wine choice over the years. Not only did I have the honor to stand up next to Lindsey for her wedding in Jamaica this past October, but I introduced Lindsey to her now husband Jake!
Ring Bearer
Maxon is Kristen's 5 year old "nephew" (cousin Lisa's son) and is super pumped to be in charge of ring security!
Bridesmaid
Gina and I met working together at PepsiCo. We became fast friends bonding over juicy office gossip and our love for the free office Mountain Dew Kickstart Pineapple Orange Mango. If you couldn't find us in our cubicles we most likely could be found leaving training meetings early to attend happy hours along the Chicago river. #roséallday
Flower Girl
Evelyn is Kristen's two and a half year old "niece" (cousin Chris and wife Mandy's daughter) and can't wait to be "pretty pretty" in her flower girl dress!
