We matched on Bumble in late August 2023, and what started as a simple swipe quickly turned into something much more. After a week of nonstop chatting, we decided it was finally time to meet in person over Labor Day weekend! Our first date began with dinner, but neither of us were ready for it to end. Since things were going so well, we made a spontaneous decision to keep the night going with a little friendly competition at PopStroke. Between the laughs, the putt-putt, and easy conversation, it was clear something special was happening! From that point on, everything just clicked. We talked nonstop, met each other’s families within the next week, and have been inseparable ever since. On New Year’s Eve 2025, he planned the perfect surprise proposal with the help of my best friend Kayla and her husband Jason. They invited us to dinner at Brenner’s on the Bayou, and while Kayla was “just taking pictures,” she was secretly helping him set up the moment perfectly, and even captured the entire proposal for us! It was everything I could have dreamed of, and of course, I said yes!
