Question

How many guests will be attending?

Answer

At this time, we are expecting between 100 to 130 guests. We understand that this can be a reason for concern for some, so we completely understand if you are uncomfortable with attending due to the number of guests. We will keep you posted if anything changes closer to the date!

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

As an additional safety measure, we have opted to plan an outdoor wedding. Our ceremony will be hosted in the Sunset Plateau with breathtaking views in every direction. Just a little walk away, a cocktail hour and reception will follow at the private courtyard by the Meadow House and Honeymoon House. Rest assured our venue is a sprawling property with plenty of space to move around, take pictures, and party! Go-carts will be available to accommodate those that may have difficulty walking from the parking lot to the ceremony and reception area.

What additional safety measures will be taken the day of?

Answer

- We have a detailed COVID-safe plan that we will get approved by our venue, but of course, this is subject to change. - We will have multiple sanitizing stations set up around the venue, including upon arrival and in each bathroom. - All wait staff and bar staff will be wearing masks and gloves. - We are requesting that ALL guests, regardless of vaccination status, be tested for covid-19 at least 48-hours before the wedding day. If any guest's test results turn out positive, PLEASE notify Kirk or me right away so that we can promptly inform our venue and caterer of any changes to our guest count. I understand that it will be difficult to miss our wedding as it may be a time for you to reunite with friends or family after a long time of not seeing them, or that you have pre-arranged plans. But, to ensure the protection and safety of our guests, especially those who are high risk, we request that you respect our wishes and not attend. If you have any questions regarding our requests, we encourage you to include them in the RSVP section or feel free to message us directly.

Do we need to wear a mask?

Answer

While it’s not a requirement for our wedding (for fully vaccinated guests), we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day. Nevertheless, we do encourage guests to practice social distancing still. Please note that we will be requiring that all unvaccinated guests wear a mask as extra protection for all guests, especially those that are high-risk, that may be attending and mitigate any possibility of our wedding being a super-spreader. We will be providing masks at the venue for your convenience (or, feel free to bring your own if preferred!).

How will changes be communicated before the day?

Answer

Rest assured we will keep you in the loop regarding any important changes with an email alert. In the unfortunate event that we have to cancel or postpone our special day, we will also reach out to all guests individually to confirm a new date.

Will you encourage social distancing?

Answer

We can’t wait to have all our favorite people together in one place! With the current guidelines in mind, we encourage you to refrain from handshakes or hugs if you notice yourself to be symptomatic during the event. We have also created our seating plan in line with the current COVID-19 restrictions to allow adequate space between guests during dinner. We will try to seat guests with their close family and household members.

When is the last day we can RSVP?

Answer

We completely understand some of you may not be able to confirm your attendance until closer to the date, particularly those who are traveling. However, we will require your RSVP no later than AUGUST 15, 2022 in order to confirm numbers with our caterer and venue.
