We're Getting Married!

They say true love can be found anywhere, even in the endless sea of profile pictures, quirky bios, and unsolicited dog selfies of the online dating world. Kirk and Chelsea are living proof. They matched in May of 2016 on OKCupid (yes, it does work. Someone tell the algorithm that they nailed it). Kirk couldn’t help but notice Chelsea’s profile. She was a teacher, aka a real-life superhero, and he told her just that. What started as a few messages quickly turned into endless late-night conversations, the kind that make you forget how many hours have passed and how little sleep you’re getting. Eventually, they planned their first date: brunch followed by a movie. When they finally met in person, Chelsea was absolutely stunning and not a catfish (a modern miracle!). They were so wrapped up in talking, laughing, and connecting that they didn’t even look at the brunch menu for nearly an hour. Sitting across from each other, sharing stories and a mutual love for musicals and cute kitten videos, they just clicked. Since then, they’ve grown through many seasons of life together. Learning, laughing, and building something beautiful. And now, after eight years of love, growth, and the occasional binge-watch of Broadway bootlegs, they’re ready to take the next step. To all of you who have cheered them on, supported them, offered advice, and loved them through it all, thank you. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you on August 17th!
