We found each other on the dating app, Hinge! We connected over Labor Day weekend in 2023 and had our first date on September 15th. Matthew suggested we go on a hike in Schenley Park and then have drinks afterwards. We had a fantastic time enjoying the outdoors and getting to know each other more on our hike. •Our first date at Schenley Park—where it all began ☺️ •Our second date at a Nickelback concert—we walked back to my car to see my car’s side mirror was broken! Matthew got right into problem-solving mode and fixed my mirror before I drove home that night. 🚙 •Our third date at Walnut Grill in Washington, PA—we had such a fantastic time, another patron paid for our whole meal! We continued our conversation for hours outside the restaurant, even after they closed. Matthew wanted us to return to Schenley Park over Easter weekend in 2025 while we were hanging out together—we were definitely overdue for a hike! He let me take the lead on where to go in the park this time, until we took a rest break under a bridge. When I turned around to Matthew, he was already on his knee for however long! He popped the question and I immediately said YES. And that’s why this website exists today!
