We met on Hinge in January 2023. Our first date was on the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes. We went rock climbing at the Crag (which is now our regular after work workout spot... 4 guest passes a month. Come climb with us!) and went across the street for a hot pot dinner. Mitchell loves to poke that the girl wearing an anime hoodie couldn't use chopsticks (she learned that night...) Soon after Grant left for the birthday group trip to Japan, making a point to text this one short girl everyday. Guess he liked her or something! We started regularly climbing (indoor and outdoor), paddle boarding, caving, hiking, camping. He became Nola's favorite! When he came over it meant more treats and walks in the park. ~Forever Adventure Buddies~ We took our first big trip with the Cornay crew to California - shortly followed by the Germany Christmas market circuit early December 2024. With Steph's work trips and Grant moving to Asheville for half of 2025, our regular date nights turned virtual. With discord, facetime, a few weekend trips back home, a trip out to the Appalachia mountains, and a meet in the middle date day, it made the 6 months somewhat bearable. 3 years later, you can still regularly find us at the Crag and the lands between (those that know, know.
