Question

Is there a Packer home game that weekend?

Answer

At this point the schedule is not available until mid April. So IF/WHEN booking your hotel rooms rates will change. IF there is a home sunday Packer game, rates will go up, if they are away or a by-week then the rates will stay low. PLEASE when booking any hotel rooms wait until AFTER the schedule is available so you are not stuck with any extra costs. I have blocks set up to guarantee rooms for my guests so please do not feel rushed.

Is the Ceremony and the Reception in the same location?

Answer

We are having our ceremony at Devotions Chapel in Greenleaf, Wi Our reception is at Swan Club in De Pere, WI They are less than 10 miles away from each other. It is a very short drive between the two

Is there a large time gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, yes. In order to have our dream location for our ceremony we had to compromise on the time frame, because of that our ceremony is at 1pm and will last about a half hour, where our reception does not begin until 400pm. That is when cocktail hour starts. Dinner is for 5. We will be supplying guests from out of town, and local with a list of ideas of things to do, places to see, and places to drink, hang out and explore until our 4pm cocktail hour. We apologize for any inconvenience this brings. On the plus side it gives us plenty of time to get wedding photos taken between the two events.

Is there a dress attire prefered?

Answer

We would like everyone to dress semi-formal or formal, but there is no need for suits and tuxes, or long ball gowns, We are not picky people but would prefer there to be some formality to it.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

During our Ceremony we are asking guests to not take any photos with either their cell phones or cameras. We will have photographers and a video camera capturing all the moments you wish to capture, and we promise to share them immediately so you may see. At the reception I ask you to take as many photos as you'd prefer and share them on any social media of your choice, however we only have facebook and in so please use our hashtag to help us see the moments you've captured at the reception!

What time should guests arrive? (Ceremony)

Answer

Our ceremony begins promptly at 1pm Therefore we ask that you not be walking in midst ceremony, so please arrive by 1230 or 1245 to assure you are not walking in while the bride is about to be walking in! (The wedding party will be entering the main entrances of the chapel)

Can I bring my children?

RSVP's

Answer

Please mail all RSVPS whether it is informing us of you not attending or that you are attending We need to have a final head count to give to both our ceremony venue and reception venue. We do not need mailed RSVPS if you are going to message, or electronically reply. Please inform us before the deadline if those RSVPS are going to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Wheelchair Accessibility

Answer

The ceremony location is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, it requires a few stairs to get up to the entrance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may bring. And assure you that our reception location is 100% wheelchair accessible.

Hotel and Travel Accomodations

Answer

As of now we are still currently deciding and figuring out how many hotels and which hotels we will be using, we do currently have one hotel block in place. A challenge we are facing is because of football season prices are high until we know if there is not a home packer game that weekend, All hotel blocks will be updated and posted as we confirm them with the hotels. Please feel free to take it upon yourself to find any hotel you'd prefer to stay at during this time. We are also working with our hotels to accommodate shuttle services to and from so we can ensure our guests are not driving under the influence and having easier time traveling too and from locations. However there will not be any shuttle services between the ceremony location and the reception location, it would strictly be for the reception location and the hotels of our choices.
