We met on tinder kind of as a “joke.” I made a profile to just find a date for my MOH’s wedding in June of 2017. I can across cory’s Profile and wasn’t sure whether to swipe or not because he only posted early pics of high school. Not knowing if he was actually 24, I saw that he was a farmer so I took a chance. We met for our first date at Culver’s in Galena for ice cream (even though I don’t like ice cream lol). It was awkward, no talking, Cory is VERY shy. We decided to drive around and immediately hit it off talking about our likes, dislikes, haunted stories, etc. We eventually went on a few more dates and we instantly knew we were going to spend our lives together.

7 months and a day early from the day we began dating (2/9/2017) we got engaged 09.08.2018! Cory and I had talked about how we wanted the engagement to be and he listened to every detail. Cory knew how important it was for me to have an intimate engagement in the field that means so much to us. He proposed with corn spelled out “Will you marry me?” As I turned around in which he was in his knee. I will never forget how I felt in this moment.
