At the end of 2020, we both swiped right on Bumble — and yes, Anna made the first move (because on Bumble, girls are in control). What started as a simple message quickly turned into our first date at the beginning of 2021: shopping at the mall, dinner at The District Tap, and a car karaoke session that included “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars and “Baby” by Justin Bieber, until midnight. After a year of making the drive between Indy and Cincy (long-distance thanks to different colleges), we officially started dating in December 2021. From there, we grew together, learned together, and found joy in exploring life side by side. Fast forward to October 2024 — we said “yes” to forever. On July 25, 2025, our hearts grew even bigger when we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Kirby Arlene Johnson, into the world. Now, as we embrace life as our little family of three, we’re soaking up every laugh, every late night, and every new adventure — and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter of our journey will bring.
