Shoppes of Avondale
Grab a slice of cake at Biscotti's, go antiquing, check out the small boutiques and bookstore. If it’s breakfast time-go to The Fox Diner. For later in the day- our favorite restaurant is Josephine's (for girl dinner and real dinner)! Trevor loves the Josephine Classic Martini and Kirby loves the Espresso Martini.
Balis Park/San Marco Square
Enjoy strolling, eating, drinking and shopping around San Marco square. Grab a beer at Aardwolf Brewery or a cocktail at Grape and Grain, where we had our first date. Go to Riverfront Park for the best sunset view in Jacksonville. Fun fact: Trevor proposed in Balis Park.
Riverside Arts Market
On Saturday morning, find the best pie in town at the Mixed Fillings table! Grab food at the food trucks and shop from the local artists.
Murray Hill Neighborhood
Find the hidden Bill Murray mural. Eat at a James Beard Award Nominated Restaurant-Chancho King or grab a sausage and a pint at Buchner's Bierhalle and Speakeasy. For wine and cheese lovers, stop by Grater Goods and Bernie's Wine Shop (also next to a cutesy book store!)
Community Loaves Bakery
This is one of our favorite bakeries, also located in the Murray Hill neighborhood. Stop by the honey shop next door on your way out.
Atlantic Beach
For sunrises and beach walks, Atlantic Beach is our favorite. Grab a burger at Poe’s Tavern. Or load up with carbs at Salumeria 104 with their Cacio E Pepe in a cheese wheel.

Castillo de San Marcos National Monument/St. Augustine
For the history lovers- head down to St. Augustine to visit the fort and explore the United States's oldest European permanent settlement. Our favorites eat and drinks are at Ice Plant, Odd Birds Kitchen and the view from Tini Martini. Don't forget a hotdog from Hazel's!!
Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens
Stroll the gardens, check out some art. If you’re feeling fancy, grab a drink at River and Post’s rooftop bar. Or delicious bites at Hawker’s in Riverside Five Points.
Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve
History Lovers: check out the Kingsley Plantation and Fort Caroline. Outdoor lovers: hit the beach, walk on the trails or kayak in the marsh.
Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens
Find Kirby's favorite animals: bears and manatees! Trevor's favorite animal, the wolf, lives happily in the wild.
