Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP via the function on the website. If you have any issues with this, please contact Kirby or Chris directly. We kindly ask that family and friends RSVP by 1st April 2025.

Question

What is the easiest way to and from your wedding?

Answer

We recommend driving or getting a taxi to the wedding ceremony. A list of taxi companies has been included on the travel page (keep scrolling past the hotels). For those driving, there is private parking next to the church (location tbc) and it can be left overnight. As parking is limited near the reception venue, we will be supplying transport from the church to Bathurst Mansion. Depending on where you are staying, we recommend booking taxis in advance for the end of the night.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The recommended dress code for the wedding is black-tie. Dress to impress and be too glam to give a damn! Guys: channel your inner James Bond! We request that you wear a tuxedo/dinner jacket and black bow tie. If you do not have a tux/dinner jacket, a dark suit will suffice (ideally with black tie if you can, or smart dark tie). Gals: We've got good news: black-tie dress codes are more flexible for women, so have fun and experiment with something new, although we’d recommend nothing shorter than knee length. If you want to keep things classic, a floor-skimming dress will always feel suitably elegant for a black-tie event. For guidance on how to dress for black-tie, we defer to none other than M&S for this useful guidance: Men don tuxedos or dinner jackets with traditional satin peaked lapels and a bow tie. Women tend to wear long dresses, usually below the knee or floor length, in an evening-appropriate fabric: think velvet, silk, satin or lace. If you do not wish to wear black-tie, please wear smart evening / cocktail attire.

Question

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at the ceremony and dinner, plus 1s for this part of the day are limited to where it has been explicitly stated on the invite. If you are unsure about your invite, please don't hesitate to contact Kirby or Chris. For the evening, we have a lot more capacity and it is absolutely 'the more the merrier'. We would therefore love for you to bring a plus 1 for this part of the day. There's plenty of lovely shops, restaurants and bars in Cirencester that we can recommend to entertain people that can't come to the day event, before heading to our party.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We are sorry to inform that this is an adults only wedding, other than a special newborn member of the wedding party.
