Things To Do

Dane County Farmers' Market

3241 Garver Green, Madison, WI 53704
, (608) 455-1999

One of Kirby's absolute favorite things about Madison is the Dane County Farmers' Market! The market on the capitol square won't quite be ready to open in March, but they host a late winter market indoors every Saturday from 8am-12pm at the Garver Feed Mill. Check out the website for more info!

Eno Vino Downtown

1 North Webster Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 455-0663

One of our favorite places to grab a special meal or a drink downtown, this wine bar is on the top floor of the AC Marriott Hotel and has beautiful views of the capitol building and the lake!

The Old Fashioned

23 North Pinckney Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 310-4545

Where it all started! --- this is where we had our first date (which lasted over 5hrs)! One of our favorite spots to grab a beer, cheese curds, and a burger! They don't take reservations, so get there early or be prepared to wait a little while for a table!

Salvatore's Tomato Pies

912 East Johnson Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 238-6040

Consistently voted among the best places to grab pizza in Madison! They also have delicious pastas, appetizers, and drinks! Very close to Hotel Indigo and The Tinsmith.

State Street

State Street, Madison, WI

Packed full of fun local businesses and restaurants, State Street is a must see for visitors who are new to Madison. It starts at the capitol square and takes you straight down to Memorial Union on the lake. In March you can expect to see lots of students out and about! Grab yourself a coffee at Fair Trade or Collectivo, a treat at The Chocolate Shoppe or Kilwins, or pop into one of the many specialty stores or gift shops!
