Let’s celebrate our love together! Wedding of Kira & Matty

What a year 2020 was for everyone! We didn't know it as the world was forever changing around us, but by Autumn of that year, Matty and I knew we had found what we had been looking for in each other. It was the start of the big love story we both had dreamt about our whole lives - yes, we are those sappy, hopeless romantics that gush and make eyes at one another as if the rest of the world can wait. Over the next few years, we only got closer and found our perfect partner in each other - shared values, interests, humor, and life goals. Best friend? Who I think is Hot!? What a blessing!! Each fall, we celebrate our anniversary of getting together that fall in 2020 - usually with a pumpkin patch visit! At our three-year anniversary, Matty proposed! I cried a lot! It was due to happy tears, I promise, as I replied: "I want to marry you so hard!" That Thanksgiving, when both of our parents were together for the holiday, I proposed to Matty at Lake Crescent, and was so scatterbrained I insisted the ring goes on the RIGHT hand. Nope. But Matty did it anyway. We were engaged! And it was to be a long engagement, as Matty started doctoral school for Physical Therapy. So proud! So much work! So our Fourth anniversary in the Fall of 2024 was spent in Guatemala: Matty finishing doctorate school while practicing physical therapy at rural clinics, and Kira translating for the team and the patients; it was an amazing opportunity to work and travel together! Our Fifth anniversary this last year found us eloping at Lake Crescent in the Olympic National Park with our three closest friends, and getting married on the exact day of our first date, five years earlier: September 27th Here we are in 2026, happier than ever, and wanting to celebrate our Sixth anniversary with all of YOU! Our community of friends, our family, and loved ones: the people who have supported our relationship and love throughout the years. We want to get MARRIED (yes, again!) and be witnessed by those who mean so much to us. To celebrate and party and remind ourselves of the goodness and joy in this world. Can't wait to make memories with all of you! Matty and I love you! <3
