Where is the venue?

Answer

The Boardwalk is located at 1100 Diller Road, Benton Harbor, MI 49022. All events will take place at The Boardwalk. Events will take place outside, so dress accordingly!

Friday night Welcome Party?

Answer

For our out-of-town guests arriving in Benton Harbor on Friday, May 29, we warmly welcome you to join us for a casual Mexican fiesta following our rehearsal. A taco bar and drinks are provided along with an opportunity to begin the celebration early. Please RSVP so we can prepare accordingly. The Welcome Party runs from 6:30-9:30 pm and you are welcome to stay for all or some of the evening.

Shuttle?

Answer

We have a shuttle to transport guests staying at the three nearby hotels reserved. Rideshares are not common in this area, so please consider the hotel and shuttle option. The shuttle will begin picking up an hour before the ceremony, and will be available to bring guests back to the hotels whenever you have had enough fun.

What time to arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. For those staying at the nearby hotels, the shuttle will begin bringing guests to the venue at 3:30 PM, with the last shuttle at 4:15 PM. Shuttle tip: Please hop on when you can rather than waiting for the last one—we'd love to get everyone to the party on time! For those parking on-site, please allow yourself time to park, enter the venue, and find a seat.

Parking?

Answer

There is plenty of parking for those who plan to park on-site. Overnight parking is allowed, but vehicles must be picked up promptly the next morning. Please be aware that rideshares are not common in this area.

Wedding dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Dress code is semi-formal to formal attire. Spring colors encouraged! The venue is outdoors; ladies please take this into account when choosing your heels!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event, with the exception of immediate family. That being said, we kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited. We hope you understand and can enjoy the night off.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly request that you be fully present with us and leave your phone or camera in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. After the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and we encourage you to snap away! QR codes will be strategically posted throughout the venue for easy photo-sharing.
