Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at The View at Bluemont. There is parking onsite, and we will also be offering guests transportation to and from the event to the Tru by Hilton Loudoun and Homewood Suites Leesburg Hotels.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be offering transportation to and from the recommended hotels to the View at Bluemont. More information will be shared soon.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying at the Tru by Hilton One Loudoun. The hotel is located in a town center with lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance. The Homewood Suites Leesburg is also recommended - the drive from this location to activities in Leesburg will be a few minutes shorter.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We are still finalizing our timeline, but will add updates here closer to our wedding day! It’s likely that the event will begin at 3:30 or 4 PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the event is formal attire. For women we recommend a minor full length dress. Men should wear a suit and tie.

Can I bring my children or a plus one?

Answer

We ask that you please bring those specifically named on your invitation. While we love your little ones, this is an adults only event. Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions. Thank you for understanding! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. We will then move inside for both cocktail hour and the reception.

Can I Uber To and From the Wedding?

Answer

If you live locally and would rather not book a hotel, or if you’d prefer to stay at another location, we recommend that you Uber to one of the hotels under the 'Accommodations' tab and ride on the shuttle that we are providing. Ubers in Bluemont, VA are limited. If you do not choose to ride on the shuttle, we recommend booking a taxi or ride in advance.
