We want you to look and feel your best, but don't want you to feel constrained! We'll throw "beach cocktail" out there as a rough guide (think dressing up for dinner on a tropical vacation), but if you need to be more casual to be comfortable going on a beach walk, traversing a gravel street, or stumbling back to your AirBnB at the end of the night, we welcome it! Weather is unpredictable by the beach, so we do recommend bringing a warm layer - we won't judge you if it's a puffy jacket.
There is NO parking at the venue itself, so if you're planning on driving make sure to give yourself an extra bit of time. You're welcome to come drop guests off at the end of our street prior to finding a more definitive place for your car. Options for parking include - 1) Finding street parking somewhere in the neighborhood up on the hill or anywhere around the downtown area 2) There are additional spaces available in lots belonging to a private property that we rented out for wedding lodging, about a 10 minute walk from the venue. If you route to 3325 CA-1, you'll find a large gate with a seahorses on it, and another gate just North of it (just North of 3327 CA-1) with a whale on it. The codes to these gates are 1535#. You can park at any open spots here. 3) The rustic backlot or paved front lot of the Stinson Beach Library (3521 Shoreline Hwy, Stinson Beach, CA 94970). This lot is formally open to the public once the library closes at 5:00pm, but we can't imagine they'd mind too much if you parked there half an hour beforehand. This is a short, less than 5 minute walk from the venue. 4) The very large free public beach lot right next door to the house* *The beach lot closes at sundown, estimated to be around 8:10pm the night of the wedding, so we wouldn't count on this option unless you're planning on leaving early. 5) If all else fails and it's coming up on 5:00pm, there's a chance you may be able to park on our street if the alternative is being late to the wedding. We will have very limited space and do want to save this as a last resort so that it doesn't feel like we're getting married in a parking lot , and may ask that you move your car after the ceremony to one of the places listed above.
