What events do I need to be aware of?

Answer

Anyone is welcome to join the Rehearsal “Dinner” at Lucky Luke’s Brewery in Palmdale on Friday night at 6. Out of town guests are also invited to our house on Sunday for a casual after party. Pool/ summer clothes recommended.

Question

I’ve never heard of Vallyermo in my life. How do I even get there??

Answer

Due to some dark roads and an open bar, we plan to offer a free shuttle service to our venue. It will depart from the Springhill Suites parking lot in Lancaster. Please feel free to use this service to get yourself to and from the venue. We also have some directions in the travel section for those who plan to drive to the venue.

Tell me about the shuttle!

Answer

We will be offering a shuttle to the event. We ask that people taking the shuttles meet at 3:00pm at the Springhill Suites parking lot. The shuttles will be departing shortly thereafter.

What should I wear/ avoid?

Answer

The wedding is outdoors. Expect heat and wind. It will cool down as the evening goes on? So a light sweater for later is a good idea. Bridesmaids will be in a steel blue. Groomsmen are in Navy. If you wear those colors be prepared to do some work. If you wear a white dress, you may be asked to marry Luke.

Kids?!?

Answer

Due to guest count limitations, we can have very few children in attendance. All invited guests will be mentioned on invitations. Uninvited children may possibly be released into the wild. So, you know, do with that what you will.

Is there a theme?

Answer

We do have a vintage travel theme, the venue has some classic Spanish California architecture. Neither of these will affect our guests unless they wish it to.

Where should I stay?

Answer

The wedding is at a ranch in the hills of Valyermo which does not have hotel accommodations. We recommend staying in Lancaster or Palmdale.
