Flight Information

Getting to Long Island takes 2 - 3 plane rides. Look for flights into Nassau or Georgetown, Exuma. IMPORTANT: Please reach out to Kira/Jason with flight information before booking anything! ALSO - The Bahamas is NOT part of the United States, you will need a valid passport to enter the country. Options from Nassau or Georgetown: Stella Maris Resort Air Service (Kira's father) If you wish to fly with SMRAS, please reach out to Kira as soon as possible to arrange as availability is limited. We have two small aircrafts, a 6-seater and a 9-seater. This is a first come first serve situation so the sooner you book the better! Bahamasair They fly into Deadman's Cay, Long Island and have one or two flights scheduled each day. These flights you can book on your own on their website. Deadman's Cay airport is an hour drive from Stella Maris but we or someone will be there to pick you up. If you choose to fly Bahamasair, please let Kira or Jason know so we can coordinate everyone's flights and pickup/drop off can be combined. www.bahamasair.com The Sheep Runner Ferry This is a ferry that comes to Salt Pond, Long Island from Georgetown, Exuma. The trip is about 1.5 hrs and is dependent on weather. We suggest this as an absolute last option if there's not a single flight left.
