Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

This past year has been tough for many of us so we thought it would be fun to dress up! Attire will be Formal. What does this mean? For women, we would love long dresses (midi or full length), pant suits, fancy cocktail dress and for men, suits are perfect. :) P.S. The venue is all grass so I would recommend no spiked heels!

Question

Can we bring kids?

Answer

As much as we love children, we would love to save this night for an out on the town for adults! Please leave your kids at home to have a little date night :)

Question

Where do I park for the wedding?

Answer

The Santa Barbara Zoo will have plenty of free parking. Or you can choose to take Uber/ Lyft. :)

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

What is the venue like?

Answer

The SB zoo will be all outdoors and on grass! In October it will be warm in the day, but may cool down a little at night so bring a light shawl or sweater. There will also be a few heaters.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

Before we answer this question, we want to extend our love and comfort to you, as COVID-19 has impacted each of us uniquely and brought great difficulty to every home over this past year. We have decided to get married on October 3rd, despite the uncertainty of what that day may look like. We do not know what will happen between now and October, but our hope is that it will be safe and each of you feel comfortable attending our wedding. We will look to the CDC for direction and guidance as the date approaches and inform you of any changes.
