We’re getting married!

People believe that REHAB is the worst place to meet people (friends, spouses). Our outlook is quite different. When you meet at your lowest point, there is no way to go but up. Not to mention learning every skill possible to grow, while facing your demons. If you do the steps... Once you come out of REHAB, you are literally your best self or on your way there. The first time Carlos flirted with me was on the tennis court. I thought he had played many times before. Later I learned it was his only time and only because I was there. After playing, was when he stole my heart. He asked me to come aside from everyone and pointed into the night sky. He said “do you see those 2 dots?” I was very confused but I played along. He said “THAT is Saturn and THAT is Jupiter.” With a huge grin. Right there, I loved his soul. It has now been nearly 3 years since that night in September and we are stronger, wiser, more patient, kinder and loving than we ever thought we could be. We understand life should be simple, fun, and peaceful. We want to literally grow old, watching the kids pick their noses, dogs eat our shoes, listen to our joints crackle while we Netflix and chill. Ha! Love is what life is ALL ABOUT, and we WANT TO CELEBRATE that with our kids, family and friends. Love is the center of LIFE so JOIN us! Have great food, celebrate love and laugh!
