we’re getting married!

After church, Kira’s friends whisked her away for lunch, but refused to tell her where they were going. Fortunately for them, Kira has an easy time falling asleep and managed to sleep through the entire car ride from Pleasanton to Carmel. When she awoke, the crisp ocean air greeted her, and the three of them enjoyed drinks and appetizers at a local spot before heading to the beach. Kira was told to keep her eyes on the ground as they walked for a while, until she was finally allowed to look up. To her amazement, she found herself on the beach in Carmel, where the love of her life stood waiting. A beautiful path lined with tulips and roses led her toward him, and as she approached, she saw him holding a massive bouquet while standing on a rug. Overwhelmed with excitement and emotion, Kira made her way toward her best friend. As she reached him, he delivered the sweetest speech before getting down on one knee. And, as you might have guessed, Kira said “yes!”
