This is an amazing event, the first of the annual Chicago World Music festival. It's an all night Indian music festival held in the beautiful Cultural Center. It's free. You can come anytime and even spend the night there if you want. People bring sleeping bags.
Join the City of Chicago and a multitude of partner organizations for a day-long neighborhood festival celebrating the 150th anniversary of the historic Chicago Water Tower—built in 1869 by architect William W. Boyington and one of the only buildings to survive the Great Chicago Fire.
And, it's free!

Go here to check out the Shriner's. It’s a very neat building. Walk up the stairs and try to get to the pool. Not to be missed. https://www.historichotels.org/hotels-resorts/intercontinental-chicago-magnificent-mile/history.php
