Every love story has a spark and ours began at a cookout with a little chaos and a lot of laughter. Kion, being his playful self, decided to get on Amber's nerves by taking her glasses. This wouldn't be the last he got on Amber's nerves. It was bold, ridiculous and somehow... the beginning of something beautiful.

A year later, the worldd shut down - but fate had other plans. Kion slid into Amber's DMs with the now legendary line: "If COVID doesn't take you out, can I?" Amber said "Sure," and just like that, a quarantine joke turned into a lifelong connection. Our first date at Lum's Pond complete with crab legs and sangria sealed the deal. Simple, fun, and very us.

From our first Vegas trip to our first passport stamps in Jamaica, every adventure has been filled with laughter, good food, and even better memories. Whether we're exploring new cities or just vibing at home, we bring out the best sides of each other.

On July 27, 2024, surrounded by family and friends at our son’s birthday party, Kion got down on one knee and asked the question that changed everything. It was heartfelt, unexpected, and perfectly timed—because who else proposes at a kid’s party and makes it look classy? When Amber’s grandmother saw the ring, she laughed and said, “If you don’t take it, I will!” Needless to say, Amber said yes.

Now, as we prepare for our Black-Tie Affair, we’re grateful for every moment that led us here. From crab legs at the pond to walking down the aisle, our story is proof that love can start with laughter and grow into something timeless.
