Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will be at Duquesne Chapel of the Holy Spirit. See the map above for the easiest walking route to the chapel from the Forbes garage. Take the sidewalk next to the Student Union to Academic Walk to avoid the hills as much as possible! Our cocktail hour and reception will be in the Duquesne Power Center Ballroom located just across the skywalk by Forbes garage.

Will there be transportation from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

Yes! Shuttle service will be provided from both the DoubleTree and Marriott to the ceremony, as well as to and from both hotels between the ceremony and reception, and back to the hotels at the end of the evening.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes! Duquesne will provide validated parking for guests in the Forbes garage located at 1180 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. If you plan on leaving campus between the ceremony and reception, Duquesne will provide additional parking validation. Level 8 of the garage will put you closest to the Power Center entrance via the skywalk. Handicap spaces are available at this level.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests can begin arriving to the chapel at 2:30pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00pm. Cocktail Hour will begin at 6:00pm in the Shepperson Suite, doors will open at 5:45pm

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we wish we could celebrate with everyone, we’re keeping our guest list intimate. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be noted on your envelope and RSVP.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our guests dress up with us! This will be a formal event with black-tie optional attire suggested, and fun, bright colors encouraged!
