Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please submit your responses for each event no later than December 27th, 2021. Our deadline was updated since invitations went out due to holiday mail traffic. This will help ensure we are able to plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

Do I need to be vaccinated for Covid-19?

Answer

We kindly request that all family and friends joining us during our wedding week be fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated, please let Kinu and Nonso know via text message and we will help direct you to arrange local testing. Preferred local testing sites include: -- AFC Urgent Care https://www.afcurgentcare.com/vintage/ -- Brazos Urgent Care https://www.solvhealth.com/ -- At home kits such as Binax Now or Quidel QuickVue are also convenient options Protecting our elders, immunocompromised and at-risk family and friends is utmost important to us. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code and attire is described within our invite. Indian, Nigerian or American attire is welcome. While Indian clothing is not required for the Sikh Ceremony, it is very important that attire worn is appropriate for a place of worship/temple. Please ensure your legs and shoulders are fully covered and clothing is comfortable to sit on the floor in cross legged position. For women this can include: loose fitting maxi dresses, long skirts with longer loose fitting blouses, women's trouser with loose fitting blouse. For men it is customary to wear a suit with a coat & tie. It is also required that heads are covered and shoes are removed upon entering Gurdwara (Sikh temple). Head coverings will be available upon arrival if you do not have your own.
