If you had told Kaitlyn or Alex at 16 years old that the two of them would be getting married, they would have laughed in your face! As high school students, all they knew about love was that friends stay in the friendzone and nobody asks questions. Spoiler alert: they were wrong. Somewhere between the late night FaceTime calls and the inside jokes from years of friendship, their fondness of each other turned into something more. Kaitlyn and Alex started dating in March of 2020. At the height of the pandemic, their relationship faced many tests early on. When education cast them over 200 miles apart, they proved that their love could not be stifled by distance (or the Royal Rivalry). Alex dropped to one knee in 2024 at The Old Key West Resort in Walt Disney World, making a Disney property the most magical place on earth (despite the alligators). The couple has continued to grow up together and now looks forward to growing old together. They have experienced both challenges beyond their years and the greatest of joys. They cannot wait to celebrate their love with you and see what forever holds for them.
