James found himself in Oklahoma on a whim when he decided to tag along with his brother and uncle for a ranch rodeo at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie. A new friend in my MBA program (shoutout to Miss Emma Jumper) mentioned she was having company from Mexico in town for the weekend, and they might want to come back to the bars in Stillwater after the rodeo if I wanted to join. We met up at the Copper Penny, and even though I wouldn't admit it until many, many months later, I was hooked after James laid that first cheek kiss on me. ;)

James proposed on a beautiful ocean-side cliff in Howth, Ireland in June. I had a hunch it was coming - ask us about the fanny pack story - but it was still the most perfect day. See you in Texas!
