Non-Traditional Wedding
Answer
This is a non traditional wedding so it will be very different then you may be used to. There will be no garter or flower toss, no cake cutting, and a bunch of other things. Thank you for understanding this is what the bride and groom preferred.

Where will the Celebrations take place?
Answer
Our Wedding ceremony and reception will be held at McMillen Family Pavilion at Franke Park located in Fort Wayne, IN.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoor right outside of the pavilion double doors, while the reception will take place indoors.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?
Answer
In Indiana the weather in June is usually warm, pleasant summer weather with average highs around 80-81°F and lows in the low 60s°F, accompanied by significant rainfall and sunny days.

How to RSVP?
Answer
Please RSVP by May 1st, 2026. To RSVP please do it on this website (Zola) on our "RSVP" page and fill out the online form. If you do not RSVP by that date we will automatically assume you are not attending and this action can not be undone. We look forward to our family and friends celebrating with us!

What is the Dress Code?
Answer
We can't wait to see our loved ones! Please join us in your best semi-formal attire. Please dress modestly. The dress code color is Light blue.

Are kids Welcome?
Answer
For our ceremony only the children accounted for with their parents are allowed. Any and all children are welcome at the Reception.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
For our ceremony we're keeping it intimate, so only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. Plus ones are welcomed for our reception party.

What events are happening during the weekend?
Answer
The Allen and Ganaway family reunion will take place the day after our wedding.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
A 30-minute cocktail hour will take place between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails or mocktails.

Are you registered for any wedding gifts?
Answer
No we are not registered anywhere for any gifts.
Question
Where should we bring our wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you are more than welcome to bring it to the wedding. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Have you reserved any hotels for guest traveling from outside of Fort Wayne?
Answer
We have reserved a room block at Holiday Inn Purdue and Fairfield by Marriott Inn. Please book your stay by May 12, 2026 for the Holiday Inn Purdue Hotel to guarantee a room in our block. Or please book your stay by May 13, 2026 for the Fairfield by Marriott Inn Hotel to guarantee a room in our block. When you call to book mention the last name 'Allen/Ganaway Reunion' while booking to receive our reduced rate.

What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?
Answer
If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, you can find additional nearby accommodations in the area.

Will there be a shuttle to or from the hotel to the wedding?
Answer
We will not be providing guest transportation for the wedding.
Question
Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
Answer
Yes there is free on-site parking. There's another parking lot across the street for any overflow parking.

What's the best airport to use?
Answer
Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) is the only airport in Fort Wayne, IN. The hotel will be easily accessible from FWA via taxi, public transit or ride share. Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is another airport near Fort Wayne but you would have to drive about 1.5 hours to reach the wedding.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?
Answer
Our reception will end around 8 pm, after which we may have an after-party at a nearby bar or club. TBD the day of the wedding.

Yes you are more than welcome to take pictures at our wedding for your memories.
