Brynn is Lauren's older sister. She lives in Nashville, which is the closest Brynn and Lauren have lived to each other since high school, and they talk on the phone daily.

Adam and Spencer also met in elementary school. Adam is now a grill-master, and Spencer is jealous. Adam can also kick Spencer's butt in video games, which they play together regularly.

Nat and Lauren met when Lauren bumped down out of a prep into Nat's head at cheer practice. Now Lauren has fake teeth, and Nat has an indent in the top of her head the size of Lauren's chin. And they've been best friends since.

Nate and Spencer met freshman year of undergrad at Iowa State, where they lived on the same dorm floor. Nate actually lived right across from Lauren and was the one who bullied Spencer into finally making a move with Lauren. They were roommates throughout college.
Cassidy Brobst

Cass and Lauren met at orientation for the social work program at KU. Lauren couldn't figure out how to schedule classes, and Cass, having gone to KU for undergrad, helped her out. They quickly became great friends-- so much so that Cass is the backup emergency contact for Bruiser and Hamilton!

Bryan and Spencer met freshman year in the dorms. Bryan now works as an engineer in Ohio and runs a TikTok account that Spencer and Lauren think is hilarious.

Molly and Lauren cheered together for four years at Iowa State and lived together for one. Lauren was Molly's maid of honor for her wedding in June!
Ryan Hance

Spencer and Ryan met Spencer's junior year when Spencer and Nate were looking for two roommates. They didn't actually meet until the first day of class, and the only thing that's grown faster than their friendship is Ryan's hair.

Jaya and Lauren cheered together in California. Lauren was a bridesmaid in Jaya's wedding in July 2018, and in 2019, Jaya and her husband welcomed the sweetest baby girl into the world. You might see her running around and showing off some dance moves at the wedding!

Spencer met Cam in a high school English class, but they didn't become close until they went to different colleges. They've had a lot of fun nights at SEMO together . . some of which have included broken taillights and lost cell phones.

Emilie and Lauren met while studying abroad in Spain and Morocco! After the trip ended, Trevor, Lauren, and Emilie had weekly sangria nights and Papa John's nights until Lauren graduated.

Bradyn and Spencer were roommates junior year-- Bradyn was the other new roommate with Ryan. Unlike Ryan, Spencer actually met Bradyn before they moved in together. Bradyn introduced the roommates to beer die that year, which quickly became popular on weekends (and weekdays, if we're being honest). Worth noting-- Lauren and Bradyn will never agree on what the real rules for beer die are.

Claire and Lauren met their freshman year of college while cheering at Iowa State! Claire was Lauren's flyer, the next year was her roommate, and very quickly became one of her best friends. Lauren was a bridesmaid in Claire's wedding in August 2020!
Mitchell Kramer

Mitch and Spencer met sophomore year when both were dragged to one of Lauren's sorority events. They ended up living in the same apartment complex junior year and were roommates senior year. Spencer spent a lot of time with Mitch after class-- he would watch Mitch play video games and inevitably fall asleep on Mitch's bed.
